After an intensive period of preparation, the “THE ALL-NEW BMW X1” roadshow has now started. Four trucks will travel through Eastern Europe for several months, with a total of 14 tour stops. In addition to the MobileShowRoom 6, which functions as a presentation showroom and hospitality lounge and is equipped with a lavishly designed interior, a new vehicle concept was developed and manufactured especially for this tour. On the basis of the proven ExpoBoxx system, a self-assembling and hydraulically detachable container solution was designed, which is used in the driving course for inclines, crossings and inclines. This module not only offers the possibility to test different driving situations, but is also quickly set up and ready for use due to its technical design. Many other event modules, promotional equipment and lighting technology are used in the multi-day events, which are transported from one location to the next by the storage truck. A fourth truck, which has the 6 test vehicles on board, complements the caravan.
The conditions for the test drives were ideal at the first two stations for the test course. Snow and ice, but no problem thanks to X Drive!
